Will you join our platoon?

After 4 years of stormy growth, it is time to also take the finances of Cycling 4 Climate to the next level. Therefore we are looking to expand our board and are looking for the headwoman/man to take on this important task.

What will you do?

Keeping an overview of our finances, ensuring structure in the accounts and processing incoming and outgoing payments. This includes selecting a (simple) accounting package, preparing invoices (and making sure they get paid) and VAT declaration.

But of course you do not only have to deal with the finances, but your input for the further development of our organization and mission is greatly appreciated. Think about the internationalization of our bicycle tours and building the (financial) structure of our foundation.

What does our team and collaboration look like?

Cycling 4 Climate was founded in early 2019 by cycling enthusiasts with a green heart. Our team currently consists of a core team of 3 board members: Joost, Samuel and Jasper. Surrounded by about 6 permanent team members and a paid force for social media and communication. We are all driven by our moral ambition to leave the world a little more beautiful, and have a lot of fun while doing so!

In addition to our core team, we have a steady pool of partner companies that support us. Both financially, with knowledge or their network. Periodically we organize a partner meeting with them.

We usually meet once every 3 weeks in the evening, and occasionally meet physically in Utrecht or the annual vegan BBQ after the Climate Classic. Around events, the frequency of contact is more frequent and there is more to do.

Who are we looking for?

Above all, we are looking for energy. If you bring that and also some experience with accounting and knowledge of VAT/ANBI regulations that's great. Ideally you live in the cycling capital of Europe and are a bit flexible. We hope to welcome you to our energetic movement soon!
