The new Cycling 4 Climate cycling jersey is made by Velor, a young sustainable company with the mission to make the bicycle clothing industry more sustainable. And we want that too!

The short-sleeved shirt from the Pure line is made of high-quality, innovative Italian fabrics. These are made from yarns that are post-consumer waste, which means that 95% of our short-sleeved shirt is made from recycled material. This gives the material a 50% lower carbon footprint compared to other shirts. The fabric is very comfortable, breathable, and has an excellent fit. Everything to make sure you have a nice and comfortable ride; at least from a clothing perspective, because mountains can't be made flat!

We've thought about practicality too: there are three regular pockets on the back, plus an extra zippered pocket to protect your valuables. Zip protectors - called zipper pockets - make sure that the zips do not irritate your skin. And you know what the best part is about the zips we use? They are also made from recycled materials!

When creating the Pure line, we tried to reduce the impact on the environment as much as possible without compromising durability or performance. We are extremely proud of the result, Ride Pure!

Our fabrics are certified according to GRS, BLUESIGN®, OEKO-TEX® and ISO 14001 standards, which guarantees sustainable production and full traceability along the entire value chain.

Velor is a Dutch cycle clothing brand owned by brothers Florian and Mickaël Jardin, Peter Roozemond, and former professional cyclist Tom Leezer. Velor's mission is to change the bicycle clothing industry by developing truly sustainable bicycle clothing. We do this by making cycling shirts and trousers out of at least 95% recycled material, having all production take place in Europe and striving for the lowest possible footprint of all products.
