Some of the business teams of the 2021 edition:
We cycle to draw attention to the consequences of climate change. But attention is not enough.
We want to make an impact. And here too: Together we make more impact. As a participant in the Climate Classic, we expect your company team to contribute to reducing your own footprint or that of your friends/family/colleagues.
Something you are going to do (besides cycling a bit) to reduce CO2. Think about not eating meat for six months, having that talk with the neighbours about adding solar panels to their roofs, joining a local energy cooperative, taking the train on holiday this year, planting trees, or compensating your own footprint. More information can be found here.

DAREL Education develops educational modules and organises master classes for secondary schools, universities, businesses and other organisations, to create understanding, awareness and support for the energy transition.
We believe it is necessary to embed understanding of the energy transition in education. Through our education programme, we want to create sustainable communities across generations of society. We do this on a non-profit basis and would also like to get in touch with your children's school.
We are looking forward to working with a lot of Climate Classic cyclists to increase our impact together.
Concerns about climate, biodiversity and sustainable business demand reflection and attention. We are facing a major task to change the system more quickly. The legal framework is part of a much broader ecological and social context, which has also become a boardroom issue.
Eversheds Sutherland tries to contribute where possible to the sustainability task facing every company. ESG in an international setting also requires international support, including legal support. Investing in the development of sustainable energy is one of the most important parts of the ESG task. Our Clean Energy Team is continuously involved in the wind, solar and biomass markets, among others.
Because of our focus on all aspects of sustainability, our partnership with the Climate Classic of Cycling 4 Climate is a matter of course.
Our mission is to make people cycle more. Therefore, we not only offer products and services that seamlessly connect to people's cycling needs, but we exceed them. We make the choice for a bike even more attractive and always focus on quality and innovation. In the end, your bike makes for a better world: cleaner, healthier and more fun.
Many Dutch people travel short distances by car, whereas these trips could easily be made by bicycle. In addition to healthy air, more kilometres by bicycle contribute to the climate, better accessibility of cities and a vital population.
We think that deserves an encouragement: "Good on you, cyclist!" #goodbezigfietser. Get on your bike more often and encourage people around you to join in. Then together we will make a strong case for a better climate and more bike kilometres. Click here for the website of Gazelle.
Antea Group is an international engineering and consultancy firm. Together, we build a safe, healthy and future-proof living environment every day. You will find the very best professional specialists in the Netherlands, but also innovative solutions in the field of data, sensing and IT. In this way, we contribute to the development of infrastructure, residential areas or waterworks. But also to issues surrounding climate adaptation, energy transition and replacement. We think critically and always from the mindset of going for the best result together. In this way, for 70 years, we have been anticipating today's questions and tomorrow's solutions.
We believe in sustainable and innovative services on the one hand and socially responsible business practices on the other. For example, we are part of a global group of leading companies that choose to take ambitious climate action: the Science-Based Targets initiative. We are also home to proud engineers and a large group of cycling enthusiasts. We therefore support the Climate Classic wholeheartedly, both as a sponsor and by taking part.
Together, we make the world a little more beautiful every day.
The Enlit team is happy to work together with the Climate Classic to raise awareness about climate change. As a platform where the European energy sector comes together both digitally and physically, we strive with our partners to bring everyone on board and thus accelerate the energy transition in a fair way.
Together we are strong and can achieve a great deal!
Suit-case - Office of Innovation
Suit-case is a young agency for innovation in the physical environment. We take our clients on 'innovation journeys' to accelerate social transitions. Using Design Thinking, we try to transform the complexity of major transitions into concrete, applicable and testable solutions. The Climate Classic is something we like: it takes the complexity of the climate problem and transforms it into something visual and tangible in order to activate people and accelerate the transition to a sustainable world.
TNO - innovation for live
Climate change requires more action. New clean technology is needed, as well as changes in our behaviour. Using less energy, eating plant-based food and cycling more often. Awareness is essential. That is why TNO energietransitie supports this action and is cycling along.
TNO makes its operations climate neutral by 2040, takes its supply chain responsibility towards its suppliers and customers, and commits to the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact regarding socially responsible business practices.
The Dutch Sustainable Energy Association
The Dutch Sustainable Energy Association (NVDE) represents more than a thousand companies that are working towards an energy supply based entirely on renewable energy. With organisations from all angles, the NVDE is accelerating the process of energy transition with power, inspiration and a great deal of enthusiasm. The great thing about this cycle tour is that it creates an image that everyone can understand and that we can show that with cooperation, speed and perseverance, we can achieve a great deal!
Consultancy and engineering firm Movares
Climate change affects us all. We borrow the world from our children. Based on this deep awareness and responsibility, Movares consultancy and engineering firm is working on solutions for a liveable, accessible and sustainable Netherlands.
We see innovations and new ways of working together as the key to this. As consultants and engineers, we are building a future-proof country together with our clients, partners and knowledge institutes.
We are participating in the Climate Classic because we think it is a wonderful initiative to raise awareness of climate change. And changes start with awareness, with knowledge, with getting to know each other. #Together it works!
As investors, we bear responsibility. We are aware of the impact of our activities. To ensure that we ourselves act in a responsible and sustainable manner, and that we offer our shareholders and entrepreneurs sustainable and responsible returns and support, Holland Capital applies an ESG(Environmental, Social and Governance) policy.
The ClimateClassic initiative offers a fantastic opportunity to draw attention to the consequences of climate change, one of the many aspects of ESG. Full of enthusiasm and positive energy, a number of sporty Holland Capital colleagues get on their bikes together to dedicate themselves to this cause.
A cycling event with the aim of creating more awareness about the climate and to show
that so much more is possible by bicycle. That sounds like something that Cycloon Post &
bicycle couriers have been putting into practice every day for over 20 years. And that is, of course, why Cycloon is also participating in the Climate Classic 2022!
Sustainable and social postal and parcel delivery: Cycloon's mission for years.
Real impact - not by compensating for emissions, but by reducing them. We believe that the streets of
Netherlands are the domain of the bicycle, no matter what you have to transport. And with our cargo bikes
in more than 75 'bicycle cities', we show that green last-mile delivery really is a serious
possibility. For example, in just one year (2021) we have saved our customers over 165,000,000 KG of CO2 and our bicycle couriers have cycled around the world some 154 times.
And our ambition and commitment do not stop there. Cycloon's sights are set on growth to
100 bicycle cities and a positive climate balance in 2025. Things can be different, better. Cycloon is working hard to achieve this
by delivering the packages of H&M, Beversport,
FuturumShop, Tony's Chocolonely and Dopper in a responsible manner every day. And we are happy to add your webshop to the list.
Eddy, Henk, Jelle, Jonneke, Niek and Simon are keen to take on the challenge on behalf of Cycloon. If you meet them on the road
, they will be happy to tell you more about the possibilities and how Cycloon can make your
postal and parcel delivery sustainable. And in the meantime, take a look at
La Gro Geelkerken lawyers
As a law firm, we are at the heart of society. We are a service provider to governments, businesses, academic institutions and healthcare organisations, among others. In our work, we make a positive impact on these clients who face legal challenges. As an organisation, we also want to have that positive impact on the climate. Of course, this starts with us. Our participation in C4C is accompanied by concrete steps towards more sustainable business operations. By cycling with a diverse team of colleagues, we bring extra attention to the climate, both internally and externally, so that together we can take ever greater steps towards a more beautiful planet. We offset the total emissions of our C4C team members for two years with a donation to Trees 4 All.
We offset the total emissions of our team members for two years with a donation to Trees 4 All. In addition, as an organisation we are taking steps towards more sustainable and climate-friendly operations in all areas.
Ebbinge - Lead our Future
"Ebbinge knows, connects and develops the leaders of the future. Real leadership is central to us. We are constantly looking for leaders who bring about positive change, to make the world more sustainable and more humane. New leaders with a different vision of leadership.
Awareness is the first step towards change. This is exactly what the Climate Classic achieves. Creating awareness for climate change is more important than ever. Ebbinge supports this initiative and is now cycling with a team of 15 participants for the second year."
WSP is a consultancy and engineering company and strongly believes that we, all of us, are responsible for the future of our living environment. The world of tomorrow has to be livable for everybody, and WSP is working hard on that in the field of construction, infrastructure, energy, water and environment.
Future Ready is a sustainability and innovation programme by WSP, which gives substance to the necessity and social desire to design our living environment in a future-proof and innovative way. By anticipating the future, we can take meaningful action today. The Climate Classic helps us to face the future.
Deloitte guides organizations to a more sustainable future. We're there with you every step of the way - connecting from the very beginning with insight-driven strategy culminating in the impactful transformation necessary for your business to thrive. Cycling4Climate fits with our ambition to create awareness for specific challenges and opportunities for climate in the Netherlands. Through ingenuity and perseverance, the Dutch have turned their relationship with water from a vulnerability into a world-leading business model. Together we can close the gap between ambition and true impact.
EBN - Energising the transition
The fact that the impact of climate change affects us all will be made clear once again during this cycling tour. Our office in Utrecht might just stay dry, but no matter how nice EBN at sea is, we all have to avoid it. As a state-owned company, EBN is responsible for government participation in Dutch oil and gas production. In addition to these activities, we have teams working on the development of geothermal energy and CO2 storage projects. We also work on the development of green gas, hydrogen and the storage of energy. EBN is therefore engaged in making the gas value chain more sustainable and, by connecting and accelerating, we are energising the transition. Connecting and accelerating also come together nicely during this cycling event!
We have two carbon commitments!
- All travel is climate-neutral. Our company has a total of four electric lease cars, and employees also receive an NS business card for business trips. If they do have to travel by car or plane, the CO2 emissions are compensated.
- We have set ourselves the goal of having a climate-neutral building as soon as possible, but certainly before 2030. We already have 100% sustainable electricity, but we purchase heat through the heat network, which is currently 43% sustainable. Wherever there are opportunities, we will go for 100% sustainable!
Eco-Movement is the leading B2B platform for EV charge point data. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility by providing the best and most relevant charge point information for EV drivers. We love cycling, as the single most sustainable form of mobility, and are greatly looking forward to joining C4C with our international team.
Climate change is a hot topic at EGEN. All our colleagues are intrinsically driven to contribute to a better climate and environment. Did you know that EGEN means "intrinsically"? This means that we take on challenges with a sustainable impact from intrinsic motivation. By cycling with Cycle4Climate, we contribute our sportive part and hope to draw more attention to climate change. Together we can fight global warming!
Van der Wal
When we heard about Cycling 4 Climate, we were immediately enthusiastic: "This suits us, we want to participate!"
That enthusiasm is not surprising, because at Van der Wal Transport we want to make an impactful contribution to a sustainable transport sector together. We have expressed this as follows:
"We want, we can and we are going to leave the world a bit nicer than we found it. It is imperative for the environment that idiotic transport is eliminated as soon as possible. Smart transport is the solution. The next few years are crucial. We are going to do as much as we can to propagate this vision."
That is why, a few years ago, we started the Kill Empty Running programme: By 2030, we want to have achieved at least 55% CO2 reduction compared to 1990 - as described in the Green Deal. To this end, we are seriously looking at zero-emission trucks. At the same time, we are doing what can be done now, which means:
- Fewer trucks travelling empty;
- Fewer trucks driving partly empty;
- Greater use of longer vehicles (LHVs);
- Carry less air through appropriate packaging, so no half-empty packages.
We cannot achieve this commitment to sustainable change alone. Therefore we want (and have) to do this together with clients, partners and you. With Cycling 4 Climate we aim to inspire others to make a sustainable impact, because a sustainable world is a win-win for everyone.
With our car pass for refuelling, loading, carwash and parking, we help entrepreneurs on the road. We pay full attention to the energy transition. With a positive approach, because we see that things can be done differently. That is why we are happy to work with you to find an alternative. We are expanding our services of charging cards and charging stations even further, with a focus on people, to help our customers switch to electric driving. In this way, we want to make electric driving remarkably easy.
At Stec Groep, we work on smart solutions for a good living and working environment on a daily basis. Climate change has a visible and tangible impact on that living environment. We are already very aware of this in our projects and daily activities. For example, we have been travelling by train to and from the office and the customer for years. Bicycles are also the preferred means of commuting for many employees. The Climate Classic is an excellent way for this (fanatically) cycling part of Stec Groep to put climate change on the map. We are happy to take on this challenge together with all the participants in the Climate Classic. Paris is, both literally and figuratively, still far away.
Holland Property Plaza
Holland Property Plaza (HPP) is a network organisation for decision-makers in the real estate sector. HPP's sustainability mission is to support its members in their sustainability goals by connecting them and inspiring them. HPP also wants to contribute to awareness about climate change and pursue and strengthen transitions within the real estate and construction sector.
Municipality of Rotterdam
Rotterdam will be underwater if the sea level continues to rise. So it is logical: Rotterdam is represented in this cycle tour! We do this for our residents! Half of the inhabitants of Rotterdam suffer from health problems due to air pollution. Three quarters are concerned about climate change. 12% of households in our city suffer from energy poverty. In petrified neighbourhoods, it is 8 degrees hotter in summer than in green areas. That is why we are working towards an emission-free city. Rising material costs are making homes increasingly expensive. And our dependence on new raw materials is increasingly getting us into trouble. Materials are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. Scarcity, trade conflicts, a blockage in the Suez Canal and even a war are forcing their way through. It is more than clear: a sustainable city is more urgent than ever! The climate is not doing well. Together we can change that. The municipality by working more sustainably. Residents by living more sustainably. And businesses by making more sustainable products and travelling more sustainably. Together we can make Rotterdam a sustainable, green, liveable and affordable city.
Greenchoice is not just another company. We are a platform for green choices. Together with our clients, we go step by step towards Climate positivity. We find it important that everyone can participate in the transition to a sustainable world. With over 600,000 customers and 130 local energy cooperatives as partners, we have already made a significant impact. Over a third of our customers generate their own sustainable energy. As a company, we also move as sustainably as possible. We travel by public transport, on foot and by bike. The Climate Classic fits in perfectly and so we are cycling again this year. Step by step towards climate positivity!
Responding to climate change is embedded in everything we do, at the core of our activities and projects. We look at everything through "climate glasses", in all our projects - looking for new and more effective solutions. We reduced our global carbon footprint by 45% per employee between 2015 and 2019 and are on track to reduce our overall emissions by a further quarter by 2024. Through our participation, we try to raise even more awareness for climate change within our company but also among customers.
Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management
The Ministry of I&W is confronted with the consequences of climate change every day. Many of its officials work on the climate adaptation of the Netherlands every day. However, prevention is better than cure. With this trip, a large group of employees from the Ministry, Rijkswaterstaat, KNMI and the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate therefore want to show that action is needed to ensure that the coastline of the Netherlands does not lie on the route of the Climate Classic in the future. By taking up this great challenge by bike, we want to show that it is possible to cycle more often. In this way, we all contribute to the safety, liveability and accessibility of the Netherlands.
The Ministry of I&W (and its organisational units) is working on sustainability in various fields and therefore has a high 'carbon commitment'. As an implementing organisation, Rijkswaterstaat, for example, always scores high as a sustainable tenderer. Closer to climate change is KNMI, which provides our country with the most accurate forecasts possible. In addition to sustainability in the policy and the many projects, there are also small initiatives from the organisation to make its employees more aware of sustainability. For example, the sustainable games are organised, in which colleagues compete with each other to learn about sustainability and what they themselves can do to contribute to it. In this way, the carbon footprint of colleagues will become smaller and smaller in the future.
We are Sustainalize, a new generation of sustainability specialists. When it comes to sustainable impact, we believe in the power of companies. They make the difference. And it is our mission to help them do so. By advising companies on sustainability, we help them to turn the tide.
We want future generations to be able to enjoy the world as much as we do. That means adapting and pushing our boundaries. Like Climate Classic, we do this by reducing complex sustainability issues to their essence. Because if we don't take action now, our office will soon be on the new coastline of the Netherlands. We are therefore participating enthusiastically in this special initiative to create more awareness of climate change.
Neptune Energy makes a positive contribution to the changing energy needs of society. Neptune Energy has therefore set itself the goal of going beyond Net Zero by 2030. Our carbon commitment is that by 2030 we will store more CO₂ in our depleted gas fields than we emit through our activities (scope 1 and 2) and through the use of all our products by our customers (scope 3). An important pillar for this is CCS, the storage of CO₂ in empty gas fields in the North Sea.
In addition, Neptune invests in new energy with partnerships in the field of offshore production of green hydrogen, namely in the PosHYdon and H2opZee projects. Only together can we achieve the climate targets in 2030. That's why Neptune is participating again in the Climate Classic.
1. To draw attention to the consequences of rising sea levels as a result of climate change (we underline the Climate Classic motivation)
2. To bring to the attention (internally and externally) the commitment Neptune Energy has made regarding emissions: NetZero by 2030: store more CO2 than we emit directly (scope 1), indirectly (scope 2) and through our products and customers (scope 3)
3. Challenge Neptune employees to follow the example of the cyclists and make a carbon commitment: one at home and one at work.
Climate Neutral Group
We are committed to the climate every day and think it is important to show this by stepping outside our comfort zone (office environment) and doing our bit to raise awareness.
Our mission is to help companies move towards zero CO2 by 2050, something we have been doing for 20 years, and will continue to do.
Strukton is committed to sustainable infrastructure. The infrastructure sector has a major impact on the living environment, but it also offers enormous opportunities for improving sustainability. That is why at Strukton we focus on CO2 reduction, circularity, biodiversity and welfare. Sustainability can only be achieved if we inspire each other, work well together and everyone is aware of their own role in this mission. Both within our company and outside. The Climate Classic is a fantastic way to achieve this. Because together, we are creating the future-proof world of tomorrow.
Sunbeam is a dynamic company, active in renewable energy. We produce mounting systems for solar panels on flat and pitched roofs.
Sustainability is in our DNA! Our organisation has been CO2 neutral since 2020.
Our mounting systems - Sunbeam Nova and Sunbeam Luna - are certified and carry the Climate Neutral Product label from the Climate Neutral Group. Sunbeam is the first Dutch company in its sector to receive this certificate.
To draw even more attention to the need to make our world more sustainable and because we like a challenge, we are participating in this year's Climate Classic!
nlmtd is a new-style consultancy firm that helps organisations and their employees to cope with all the changes the future will bring. Hohe right way to stay relevant in the future when customer behaviour, competition, technology and market conditions are changing more often, faster and more profoundly? Toekomstbestendig we call that, or - in good Dutch - futureproof. But our future on earth is seriously threatened by the climate and biodiversity crisis. nlmtd is taking part in the Climate Classic to draw attention to this issue. Because futureproof = planetproof.
- nlmtd to-be BCorp certified in 2022
- nlmtd to chart its own climate impact (scope 1 and 2) by 2022 and set reduction target of 20% for 2023
- By 2023, nlmtd will be making a more explicit positive climate impact through consultancy services (scope 3) and will be focusing on SDGs 4, 7, 9 and 12 in its assignments.
Econic is bursting with energy to accelerate the energy transition. We do this with a fast-growing group of professionals from an old gas factory in Amsterdam Noord. In addition to our passion to make homes in the Netherlands (and beyond!) more sustainable, econic also devotes a lot of attention to the vitality of its colleagues. That's why we like to participate with a big team in Cycling for Climate. In this way we want to inspire more people to get moving and dedicate themselves to a healthier planet. Not tomorrow, but today!
Guidehouse, formerly Ecofys, is the partner of choice for leaders creating sustainable, resilient communities, solutions and infrastructure. Our solutions combined with our passion and deep domain expertise help our clients solve today's most critical and complex challenges. We are pleased to participate in the Climate Classics to raise awareness of the impact of climate change in the Netherlands. Our participants are very passionate about sustainability and hope to inspire others to cycle more often to reduce their emissions. We look forward to the trip and see you at the Climate Classics.
At Guidehouse, we believe that a sustainability strategy not only supports the transition towards a sustainable, low carbon society - it also has strategic importance and the potential to lead to a more valuable company. That's why we have committed to setting a science-based target. In addition, we are committed to a 100% renewable energy goal and Guidehouse established a goal in 2020 to reduce business travel by 9% per year over the next three years per employee from our 2019 baseline. This will reduce our largest climate impact for business travel emissions by approximately 25% over the three-year period.
The Netherlands must become more sustainable and innovative. At Invest-NL, the largest impact investor in the Netherlands, we work on complex (financial) issues to achieve this. Together with entrepreneurs and other investors, we are committed to accelerate capital-intensive, high-risk projects in the energy transition. Impact is our goal, return is the means. We dare to realise opportunities where others give up. Because we are prepared to take risks, because we can wait longer for our money and because we have access to European funds. We would like to participate in the Climate Classic to put climate change and its consequences on the map for everyone!
At Bright Cape, we breathe data. We work on analytics & applied data science, human-centered design, process mining, and innovative products under our motto: 'Improve to sustain tomorrow'. At the 20th of June, we are going to show our partners, clients, family and friends that we take this motto very seriously by cycling 250km along the NAP coastline. By doing this, we hope to inspire ourselves and those in our surroundings to make more sustainable choices.
As of this year, we are switching to a new Bright Cape eMobility plan which includes electric lease cars only. This plan also encourages employees to use eco friendly transportation by providing bikes, ebikes and a public transport subscription. In addition to that, we also buy local and/or sustainable/recycled products as much as possible. Furthermore, we are switching to vegetarian company food as a default option, whereas non-vegetarian options can be requested. It is all about the mindset!
The corporate teams of the Climate Classic 2021:
Our enthusiastic NWO team is cycling along with the ClimateClassic!
We support the goals of the ClimateClassic and think it is a great initiative. Corporate social responsibility is part of the business operations of NWO, the science funding agency of the Netherlands. We want to be a sustainable, future-oriented organisation, increase our social impact and set an example for others to follow. With our participation, we would like to contribute to the awareness of climate change and make an impact by reducing our footprint next year.
The Vepa Cycling Team will of course participate in the Climate Classic!
For us, that has everything to do with corporate social responsibility and taking the lead in change! Sustainable enterprise for us is not something we 'do on the side'. It is the way we work. It's the way we work. It's the way we want to help create a healthy earth. Clean, responsible and future-oriented. At Vepa, CSR is working towards a new economy with attention to the climate, circular, inclusive and with fair chains. The focus on taking responsibility and contributing to a sustainable and vital world has been part of our company philosophy for years. In short, every reason to join the Climate Classic and show that with cooperation, speed and perseverance we can achieve a great deal.
DAREL's motto is 'Delivering Energy Transition Today'. We help organisations that are taking the lead to reduceCO2 emissions with large-scale projects. We don't write reports, but help clients to make decisions. In cycling terms, we are the riders who jump away early to form a springboard for the leaders. Our goal is not to win the stage, but to make the peloton go faster.
This Climate Classic fits us like a glove because it clearly communicates why we do what we do. If this course becomes our new beach, we will have failed. A bit of modesty suits us, though, because given the distance and our experience, we will probably be hanging on by a thread!
With a team of cyclists already full of enthusiasm for tackling climate issues, we knew we had to join in on the Climate Classic. With over 10 years' experience in sustainable aviation fuel, we understand the importance in raising awareness to take action and save our planet. We already work together every day to tackle sustainability issues in aviation, so getting out there, and getting ready to raise awareness for educating on rising sea levels and climate change is definitely the challenge for us.
We don't say sustainability is at our core for nothing!
Together we will make the Netherlands sustainable. ENGIE is an international services and energy company that takes the lead in sustainable change. We participate, because the objectives of Cycling4Climate are in line with our goals.
With smart innovative technical solutions, integrated sustainable area development, energy-efficient smart buildings, and a reliable generation and supply of green energy (wind and solar energy, CHP, green gas, geothermal heat and hydrogen), we responsibly respond to social developments and current themes in the working and living environment.
We recognise ourselves in the aims of the ClimateClassic and think it is fantastic and important to take part in this initiative again. With cooperation, speed and perseverance, we can achieve a lot. This is particularly necessary when complex issues such as climate change are involved.
KPMG has been there since the first edition of the ClimateClassic. We know that cycling leads to connection and positive energy. Our cycling events and our data & analytics partnership where Team DSM and KPMG work together show the enthusiasm for cycling. We wish all cyclists lots of success and fun on 14 June.
We dare to cycle in front, we create climate solutions.
A transition to a new economy is underway. Society's needs are changing and as a result, new earning models are possible with which we can add more value with the same resources. New Economy develops strategies and identifies opportunities for companies to develop products and services that contribute to the climate solution. Every day we are eager to accelerate the transition to a "new economy".
Greenchoice is not just a company. We are a green movement. One that anyone can join. Together with our clients, we have been bringing green energy closer for twenty years. The more people join us. The more we can achieve. With over 600,000 customers and 130 local energy cooperatives as partners, we have already made a significant impact. Over a third of our customers generate their own sustainable energy. As a company, we also move as sustainably as possible. We travel by public transport, on foot and by bike. The Climate Classic fits in perfectly. An ever-growing green movement!
At Reckitt, we do the right thing, always. With our hygiene and health consumer goods reaching, our purpose is to protect, heal, and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world. Tackling climate change is a journey and at global level we're combatting it with ambitious plans to reduce our own carbon footprint.
As the local NL team, we want to play a role. That is why we are joining Climate Classic to cycle to raise awareness on the urgency of this matter. In addition to corporate partnership with international organizations, we have also set team purpose and personal goals to reduce our own footprint as individuals, eating no meat for half a year, investing a solar panel roof, this year on a holiday by train...and more
Lightyear: clean mobility for everyone, everywhere! That is our mission. Lightyear develops solar electric vehicles with a long range based on a holistic design philosophy. Efficiency is at the heart of everything we do as we work towards the future of mobility.
Cooperation, speed and perseverance are the aspects that play a major role in the Cycling for Climate tour, but also in our work. That is why we felt compelled to join the cycling tour, so that together we can face the challenges of climate change!
EVConsult helps governments and businesses with strategy development, procurement, advice, route guidance and IT solutions in energy infrastructure to enable zero-emission transport. Our team of driven and result-oriented professionals enjoys working with our clients and partners to bring an emission-free world closer.
By taking part in the Climate Classic with our enthusiastic company team, we not only have a lot of fun but also contribute to raising (even more) awareness about global warming and the rising sea level. On 14 June, we will be pedalling along the 'NAP coastline' with our team and we are delighted to have been able to help the organisation get two electric follow cars!
At bp, we are reimagining energy for people and planet. The world is not on a sustainable path that is why bp has set out to be a net zero company by 2050 or sooner, and help the world get to net zero. For a successful transformation we focus on a set of aims that we believe are key to reinvent bp, including absolute emission reductions, investments in renewables and reducing the carbon intensity of our products.
Performing while transforming is at the heart of our strategy and that is exactly why we join the Climate Classic, and cycle for climate.

At Tensing, we help organisations work smarter with geographic data. Better collaboration, informed decision making and cost reduction are just a few examples.
But did you know that geographical data is very useful to better map threats to our planet and prevent or solve problems. For example, we help the Province of Noord-Brabant to reduce nitrogen emissions, the municipality of Tilburg with energy transition and various water and utility companies to reduce energy and water consumption.
To add to this, we support various charities, including the Climate Classic. With 16 colleagues, we will be working up a sweat to counteract further warming of our beautiful planet. Will you encourage us?
